Yillong Chemical Group was set up in 1997 by a group of investors in Hong Kong and we taking up our investments in mainland China in 2000 with titanium dioxide and organo clay production facilities. We started our production of Organo Clay in our factory close to our own Bentonite mines. In parallel with this investment, we purchased a local titanium dioxide production facility and after modernizing it according to present technology, we started to manufacture in 2001. We are producing two different types as rutile and anatase and our capacities are 20.000 MT/Year and 10.000 MT/Year respectively in the present year.
After staring our investments with chemicals for coating industry, we made a decision for progressing with cellulose ethers according to our R&D department reports and customers' feedbacks. In 2002, we purchased a local production facility and we modernized it with the help of our German technicians and restored in a status of a chemical factory that can compete in international markets. Our current production capacities are 8.000 MT/Year for HPMC, 2.500 MT/Year for MHEC and 2.000 MT/Year for HEC.
With the increasing demand for latex powders in international market, we converted the trial production that we started in 2003 for this product into stable production just after one year. Now, we are producing totally 4.000 MT/Year and we are selling the big portion to international markets.
Then, in 2005, we started to make cooperation with a local factory to produce calcined kaolin grades. Today, we are continuing our joint venture successfully, and we reached 10.000 MT capacity in our factory in Inner Mongolia.
Our last investment was started with the iron oxide production facility located near Hangzhou in 2005 and we are currently producing inorganic iron oxide pigments including different color alternatives with the yearly 20.000 MT total capacity.
Initially, we started with local sales and promotion for our all product groups; but, after that, we focused mostly on international marketing because of the huge demand coming from abroad. We started professional marketing and international sales of chemicals six years ago and our all related activities have been certificated with ISO 9001-2000 quality management system.
Yillong Chemical Group is currently possessing pigments, polymers and cellulose factories all located in China and we are covering more than 50 countries with our key brands such as; Celocell (Cellulose Ethers), Tionox (Titanium dioxide Rutile & Anatase), Feonox (Iron Oxide), Redipol (Redispersible Powder Polymer), Optisil (Calcined Kaolin) and Bentogel (Organo Clay).
Except from these products that we mentioned above, we have also some joint-ventures and partnerships with local producers for Calcium Formate, Calphos (Sodium Hegza Metha Phospate), Soyalec (Soya Lecithin) and Blanc Fixe L (Barium Sulphate). These products that were produced under our official brand names are controlling in terms of technical quality and packaging before every single shipment by our own technical staff in the facilities.
Our aim is to bring new way of manufacturing, marketing and promoting qualified Chinese chemicals products to all over the world, to create on time solutions to all kinds of requests from our customers and to keep customer satisfaction in the highest point by our stable, tempore and high-quality services.
